New Life Fellowship Baptist Church holds the following doctrinal position:
-
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments alone as verbally plenarily inspired of God, without error in the original writings and the sole authority of faith and practice.
-
The sovereignty of God, total depravity of all men and the necessity of salvation by grace alone through faith in Christ.
-
The deity and humanity, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and imminent premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
The Holy Spirit as one of the three Persons of the Trinity is coequal with the Father and the Son, and convicts the world regarding sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates the believer and indwells those who are saved. Through the Holy Spirit believers are gifted for service in the body, but some gifts were temporary and never intended for the church today.
-
The local church as an autonomous body, separate from the world, and distinct from Israel.
-
Scriptural believer's baptism as a prerequisite to church membership and the Lord's Supper administered by the local church.
-
The Rapture of the church and resurrection of the bodies of all Christians in concurrence with the Rapture.
-
A heaven of eternal duration for the saved, and eternal punishment in the lake of fire for the lost.
-
The separation of the Christian from all worldly practices, in wholehearted devotion to the cause of Christ.
-
Salvation of the soul by repenting of sin and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that the soul thus saved is eternally saved and can never be lost.
-
Separation from liberalism, neo-evangelicalism, the charismatic movement, and all forms of apostasy and compromise with unbelief.
